Welcome to Donald Van Blake Tennis & Education Foundation, where young athletes come to develop their passion for tennis and build a foundation for lifelong success. Our youth-focused tennis organization is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where children and teenagers can thrive both on and off the court.
At DVBTEF, we believe in the transformative power of tennis to instill valuable life skills such as discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Through our comprehensive programs, tailored specifically for youth players, we aim to not only develop their tennis skills but also foster personal growth and character development.

Our expert coaches and volunteers are committed to providing top-notch instruction that is both engaging and age-appropriate. From teaching the fundamentals of technique to instilling strategic thinking and sportsmanship, we prioritize the holistic development of each young player.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to promote the educational, physical, and social development of youth in Plainfield through organized tennis and activities that will help them reach their fullest potential in tennis and in life.
Expert Coaching
Our camp features a team of experienced coaches who have competed at the highest levels of the sport. They will provide personalized instruction tailored to each player's skill level and goals. Whether you're refining your serve, perfecting your backhand, or mastering advanced footwork, our coaches are dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.
Technical Training
Through a combination of drills and practice matches, camp participants will work on refining their technical skills. From proper grip and stance to shot selection and court positioning, our coaches will cover every aspect of the game to help players develop a well-rounded skill set.
Tactical Strategies
Tennis is as much a mental game as it is physical. Our camp will focus on developing strategic thinking on the court, teaching players how to read their opponents, anticipate shots, and adapt their game plan accordingly. From singles to doubles tactics, participants will learn how to outsmart their opponents and gain a competitive edge. This is where our multilingual functionality comes into play. INSTRUCTIONAL CAMPS

TOURNAMENTS
DVBTEF offers USTA sanctioned junior tournaments from April - September. These include 10 and under, L2 and L3 tournaments.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The DVBTEF takes pride in offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors from its programs to assist with educational costs. All donations and fundraising to the program assist in providing scholarships.

Donald Van Blake Tennis Courts are located at the Hubstein Sports Complex in Plainfield, NJ. Home to our dynamic youth tennis organization, our courts provide the perfect environment for players to thrive and reach their full potential.
